here we are, filling space, fulfilling an unsaid purpose.
one gust of wind and it all goes to waste.
why cant the good just stay?
insanity has taken its toll.
one by one, each grain of sand falls thru
to the creation of a worthy life.
to the creation of a worthy strife.
i can feel it coming, the judgement of the innocent.
i foresee us falling,
searchig higher for grasp, fighting harder to fulfill this task.
i can see it coming.
what happens when, what happens when the last ones fall?
where will i be if, if it all goes wrong?
where will i be?
who do i live for?
oh god, what do i stand for?
breathe it in, breathe in your life while it lasts.
Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
Been listening to this since 2013. Eventually tried to track down a CD but now I'm starting to go digital. So, has 7 years of listening to this EP dulled the experience? Not even slightly. Amazing work. From Nathan's ghost beats on the snare, polyrhythmic measures and insane kick pedal work, Eric's unique tone on vocals and both Aaron and Josh's melodies and interesting structures. Just hope they get the chance to tour England soon. JAY DYER

I'm a big fan of The Faceless middle two albums and when I saw Lyle Cooper was on this album I knew I needed to check it out. I bought the discography almost instantly, reminds me a little of The Faceless and a bit more of Fallujah who I also adore. Well worth the money, Support these great Musicians! dragonslayer8228
